We are glad to introduce ourselves as a promoter of Nursery [seedling cultivation] in the name and style of “SANGEETHA HITECH NURSERY”.
Our nursery is designed to produce seedlings grown under favourable conditions until they are ready for planting and was established at Puducherry since 2004.
The demand for seeds and seedlings of SILVICULTURE, HORTICULTURE AND VEGETABLE SPECIES has been increasing in over the years. The special plantation drives and greening activities have substantially increased the demand for tree seedlings. Ease of availability of quality planting material at reasonable cost is a challenge which has urged us to establish a nursery as an organized sector.
At present, we are focusing on hybrid seed production and intensified the work on production of quality planting material of different plants. We give attention to community tanks, tube wells, tissue culture units green houses, model floriculture, mushroom and vermicompost units. Ultimately, our efforts is to target quality seedling production in order to promote sustainable agriculture.
We as well concentrate on specific propagation techniques, pest, disease, wood, water, nutrient management and economics behind the quality production of seedlings.
We have been catering to the needs of our various customers with the help of our strong marketing and technical Persons who are experts in Agriculture and Forestry.
LAYOUT OF OUR NURSERY
Our nursery has a water tank, pump house, seed and fertilizer store room, implement shed, germination/mother bed area, potting/container filling area, seedling raising area, worker rest room, Office room, propagation structures, compost area, etc., Our nursery is designed in such a way that the beds are arranged in a series with pathway between them. Our nursery has an open area at one end where work such as sieving of soil and filling of containers are carried out.
